Avocado Hummus

Avocado Hummus

Yesterday I made avocado hummus to go along with some carrots, peppers, and pretzels. Such a great snack and healthy! We don't have a food processor, so we use our old (crappy) blender. Womp. So that is why we use a little more water. If you are using a great blender or food processor you can even try doing less water if you want. Just know that it is great with 2/3 cup of water as well. 

  • 15oz (I can) garbanzo beans
  • 1/4-1/3 tahini or peanut butter 
  • 1/2 of one lime 
  • 1/2-2/3 cup water 
  • 1-3 garlic cloves 
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 1-2 teaspoons smoked paprika 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • 1 avocado
