Veggie Pasta

Quality food with low time and effort… yes, please.

This easy recipe required little attention and is ready to go in 40ish minutes. All you need is a rice cooker and the ingredients.

Ingredients (to serve two people):
1.33 cups pasta
2 cups sauce
1-1.5 cups veggies of your choosing
1 cup water
Spices to Taste (optional) – oregano, basil, garlic, pepper flakes, or black pepper
Cheese (optional)

Step 1: Put ingredients (besides optional cheese) into rice cooker, mix them all together.
Step 2: Turn on rice cooker (the rice cooker we have has two options, cook and keep warm, you will want to turn it to cook… or whatever the equivalent is for your rice cooker).
Step 3: Stir ingredients after 15-25 minutes
Step 4: 40 minutes after starting rice cooker, the pasta should be done. Stir it up and serve!
Optional Step 5: add Cheese

The rice cooker we used was very simple, and small. The largest measurement on our rice cooker is 3 cups, and as you can see in the first picture it wasn’t overflowing at all. It served two people without overflowing, and we have no leftovers. Very wonderful for a busy person who wants home cooked meal without making a lot of dishes.
